On February 8, Slovenian Day of Culture we invite you to attend independent and guided exhibitions, the opening of Božidar Jakac art exhibit, and workshops for kids, and adults.

Sightseeing of Baza 20, will be possible from 9 am till 5 pm. Dolenjski muzej and Jakčev dom will be open from 9 am until 7 pm.

The entrance will be free.

Schedule:

9 am – Permanent exhibition of contemporary NOB history, public guidance by curator Matej Rifelj.

10 am – Exhibition Leon 120 years, public guidance by prof. dr. Ivan Čuk.

11 am – Božidar Jakac – Image and power of landscape, Jakčev dom. Guided by curator Jasna Kocuvan Štukelj.

1 pm – The Museum of Dolenjska’s permanent art exhibition, public guidance, Jakčev dom. Guided by curator Katarina Dajčman.

2 pm – Permanent exhibit of the Archaeological Image of Dolenjska, public guidance by curator Petra Stipančić.

2 pm – Baza 20 (“Base 20”, originally called “Point 20”), a guided exhibition by associate expert Jože Saje.

4 pm – Exhibition 1918, will you bring us PEACE? Dolenjska and its people during the great war. Public guidance by curator Marjeta Bregar.

5 pm – Permanent ethnological collection Dolenjska and its people. Public guidance by curator Ivica Križ.

6 pm – Exhibition Leon 120 years, public guidance by curator Majda Pungerčar.

10 am, 11 am, 3 pm, 4 pm, 5 pm
Workshop – Sokolske gymnastic exercises
Guided by a teacher andragogy Lavra Fabjan.
