Dolenjski muzej Novo mesto in cooperation with Slovenian film archive under Archive of RS, upon the closing of the exhibition, invites you to a presentation of a documentary film, shoot in Dolenjska region,
Sarabanda za 17. regiment (Sarabanda dance for the 17th regiment) (Viba film Ljubljana, screenwriter: Živojin Sulovir; director: Jože Pogačnik; cinematographer Ubald Trnkoczy),
on Thursday, 7 of March 2019, at 6 pm,
in the lecture hall of Dolenjski muzej.
The documentary was filmed in November of the year 1975 in the region of Mirna valley. The performing artist in the film are locals, ex Austrian-Hungarian soldiers, members of the 17th regiment (also so-called as the regiment of “kranjskih Janezov”), which tell the story of their experience from the battlefields of the First World War.
After the presentation of the documentary, a guided tour by the author of the exhibition will follow.
